Please note that under Basketball New Brunswick's new policy, there will be separate charges for BNB fees and Basketball Canada fees. These fees have been paid in the past by RMBA and have been part of past registration fees.

REFUND/WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
Any player may withdraw from the RMBA programs before the official start of the playing season (defined as the first Friday after Thanksgiving in October). All written withdrawal notices received before the official start of the playing season will receive a full refund of their registration fees, less a $25 processing fee.
After the official start of the playing season, there is a fourteen (14) day (2 practice/game) grace period during which a player may withdraw and receive a full refund, less the $25 processing fee.
After fourteen (14) days from the official season start, players withdrawing from the RMBA program will be refunded 50% of their registration fees until January 1. This charge is made regardless whether the player practiced or played with his/her team. The player may retain any team shirts and/or other equipment (e.g. basketball) received from the team.
EXCEPTION:
If a player tries out for a Provincial Team, no refunds will be issued, regardless of whether the House League season has started or not.
All notifications of withdrawal must be made in writing by the parent(s) or legal guardian to RMBA on or before December 31st. After that, no refunds will be issued regardless of the player’s participation with his/her team. Written notifications may be by e-mail and directed to RMBAExec@gmail.com or via physical mail. Withdrawals will be confirmed in writing by a member of our Board.
Refunds will be issued within 10 days of confirmation that payment receipt has been made.
Under special circumstances, verbal notification to the Board President will accepted when getting written notification to RMBA before a deadline is not possible. However, the verbal notification must be followed up with a written notification as soon as possible. Verbal notification before a given deadline will be confirmed with the Board President and acceptance of that notification is at the discretion of the Board.
Verbal notification to coaches will not be accepted under any circumstances.
IMPORTANT:
RMBA will not act upon a withdrawal until written notice has been received.
